- In collaboration with the US President Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Galilee Foundation organized vocational skill training and empowerment for Female Sex Workers. 33 of them benefitted from the programme. They were trained in various vocation of their choice such as Catering, Hairdressing, Make-up, Fashion Designing, Chemist and Graphic Design. After 6 months of training and they were given relevant tools to their trade. Some of them collected money for shop rent while others had the money converted to additional tools.
- Other forms of skill acquisition at Galilee Foundation shelter is training on Poultry Farming. The Poultry Project is in conjunction with Media Coalition Against Human Trafficking (MeCAHT). A poultry pen was erected to train the children and also as a business concern for income generation foe both organizations.
- Galilee Foundation is one of the beneficiaries of the Safety-Net Job for Unskilled Persons (SNJUP) organized by the Federal Ministry of Labour in Southwest Nigeria. The training was for 3 months in specific vocation – Fish farming. The first batch has been concluded and the beneficiaries formed a cooperative group under the SNJUP Scheme. The second batch of trainees has also commenced training.
